Here's a sneak preview of the farm house kitchen renovation. It's been fun cooking with gas, Curt used the broiler for the first time last night, very nice.
Sophia had a great birthday party, here she is trying to take it all in with her mommy and daddy.

Lots of food on this plate, my passion for seafood allowed me to enjoy every bite! Loved the cheesy rice and the asparagus and squash too...
These have to be the most beautiful flowers and the fragance strong! Thanks Curt for putting a smile on my face and thanks for the delicious dinner...

Hello, I am holding off putting up more pictures until the entire job is finished. Curt has been working very hard on the kitchen. It's hard working a full time job like he says if he had an entire week off, it would have been done by now. Right now not only the new gas range is in place but he also installed the microwave over the range. All the pulls are up, it's real nice hardware, what a difference it makes. Tonight he'll put in the toe kick on the base of the cabinets, and still left to complete is the crown moulding and the remaining trim on the cabinets. The painting on the walls has been complete however the beaded board and chair rail will be done at a later time. We did pick out a real nice pre-stained panels and Curt will stain the chair to match. And lastly the island needs to be assembled, there's some 12 pieces to the island. I don't think poor Curt was aware of what he was in for when he offered to re-do my kitchen. He is extermely patient though, I love this man!

Wine Rack is going to be filled as soon as I visit Phillip in Newport, RI and get a case of my favorite Merlot from Newport Vineyards...

(the stove showing in picture is the new gas stove before it was installed)

Since this picture was taken, new gas range has replaced electric range....

Back to the renovation! Kitchen cabinets are hung, island and microwave above the range will be up this weekend. Also, the pendants lights over the island, undercounter lights and ceramic backsplash.... I know it seems like it never ends! Eventually the painting of the walls will finish this room very nicely! Kitchen includes a great spice rack, lazy susan corner cabinet, a double bin trash can, glass doors on both sides of the sink, bookcases, roll top appliance garage, coffee center cabinet, and the large wine rack above the fridge as well as a large floor to ceiling cabinet with roll out shelves (not shown in the picture) A lot of work and all being completed by Curt, what a guy!!!! Lately Curt has been having to work 2 jobs, but he does all this unconditionally! Love you Curt!
The sweetest baby ever! Sophia Alice, taken February 26, 2008 on her Birth-Day! She's 1. Loves her blueberries!
This is just one of many meals Curt has prepared for me, yes I have taken pictures of almost every plate, it always looks so beautifully done! He's a gourmet chef, eventually it will be my turn to cook for him!
Kalli Marie, Sara's Jack Russell Terrier is 4 yrs old, she has lots of personality! (and loves to pose for the camera too)
