Most beautiful baby ever....
The Salvog Family, one year and half ago when Mike got back home to Elizabeth and Sophia. You can see in their faces how happy everyone was.
These came from my Mom and Dad's vegetable garden, the seeds were brought over from Portugal, so I guess they are portuguese tomatoes
Here the mint is overgrown and push out the impatients
Below are pictures of my sweetie taken while she was visiting the farm this past week, Elizabeth arrived with Sophia last Friday night. Grandpa Glenn picked her up on Wednesday morning, so she was with us for a nice visit. She's a bundle of joy, the things she says and the things she does are so precious. Spoken like a grandparent! I just read Elizabeth's blog where she says her grandmother was probably the one who put the knee high socks on her so not to walk on the hard floor bare foot. The truth is she found Curt's socks and put them on, funny girl she is! Who couldn't photograph that? I'm glad Curt captured it! Curt picked up an inflated pool before she arrived. It was the best thing aside of the swing which she spent a lot of her time on. She loves the swings! It was very interesting watching her act like she was the mommy of her baby doll, carrying on a continous conversation and when the baby didn't behave, she'd say "you go to timeout" and sit the baby on the ground away from the swing leaning against the tree trunk. She's 2 yrs, 6 months and 2 days. Goodness gracious how time flies! We were very lucky to have Sophia for a visit... like my Mom taught her to say, she was on vacation for a week.
Say cheeeese...
Curt had such a good time with Sophia this weekend!
Sweet, sweet face! She looks so much like her momma, the smile, the eyes, the expressions! All this time we've been saying how much she looks just like her daddy, well, she does! But she's also a spit image of Elizabeth.
These pictures are exactly the same taken at Easter of Sophia squatting and of course holding of the hands...
Well, I haven't posted anything in a while but here's what's been happening. On July 4th we stayed at the farm and worked out butts off. Here we are having crabs, Mom and Dad had a great time since both their children were there, Pete joined us for the afternoon. Once we were done, I had the brilliant idea to start the fire of the huge mound of debris and mostly tree limbs and other stuff beside the barn on the back of the property. The weather was perfect, no wind and the temperature was mild. I know it's against the law to burn anything outside this time of year but oh well we went for it. My Dad and I filled up 2 small paper cups of gasoline and with a long troche we ignited. Well the picture below tells it all. I have no hair on my right hand and up my arm. The next day (Sunday) we started up again with more stuff on the pile over, this stuff had grass growing into it and it wasn't fun, but the coals were still so hot from the day before, it didn't take long to get it going again. Even in the rain we stayed out there and got it done. My Dad has done so much work cleaning up the surroundings, it looks 100% better than it did this time last year. After many cuts and bruises his finally done. Now it's up to us to still clean out the attic and the cellar. I can't believe after all the trash we and the kids removed from the property a year ago Memorial Day weekend there's still more of the tenant's crap in the house. We just don't see it so we don't think about it. It use to bother me more before but now I just come to the realization it will happen when it happens.
